Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette!

Hey Everyone!

I bought the Naked Heat palette the day it came out on the Urban Decay website, I was worried that it would be a limited edition type thing, however, it is still available in stores today.
So, I've had this palette sometime now, all the reviews have been done, I'm super late to this party, but at least I've had plenty of practice and I can 100% say that I love this palette and have used it every time I've done my makeup since it entered my life, which was the 16th of June (it would have been earlier but they have slow shipping apparently).
I've never had a palette like this one before, but I love every shade, I think this is the first time that I haven't neglected a shade in a palette, there's always that shit one in every palette and its just there looking so full in comparison to the other shades that you've hit pan on.

Urban Decay Naked Heat costs £39.50, which is £3.29 per shade as there are 12 shades, and you get a decent brush too AND lovely packaging.
However, they no longer pack the primer samples, but from what I remember they didn't add those to the Naked Smokey palette either (which is an okay palette, nothing amazing).

I was about to do swatches of each shade, but I'm wearing a white shirt, excuse me whilst I change.

I'm going to talk about each shade in order of which shades I use the most/favourites, just a reminder that I like and use every shade in the palette, the shade I list last doesn't mean I don't like it, it just means I don't use it as much as the other shades.

  1. Chaser- Chaser is my favourite as it's the shade I use the most, yes, it is a very basic shade but it's the first shade I've hit pan on, I can and do use the shade with every eyeshadow look. This shade is a light brown nude matte shade.
  2. Cayenne- I love Cayenne, I feel like this is another shade that I can use effortlessly in my eyeshadow looks. This shade is a matte light orange-brown shade.
  3. Dirty Talk- This is a metallic burnt red shade, I love this shade as I feel it really makes your eyeshadow look pop, but could also be worn alone or with other eyeshadow shades and still make a dramatic look.
  4. En Fuego- This burgundy matte shade is a perfect crease colour, I also love to wear this under my bottom water eyeliner.
  5. Ounce- This white shimmery shade is perfect for highlighting your brow bone and applying to the corner of your eyes.
  6. Lumbre- I enjoy wearing Lumbre in the corner of my eyes with Dirty talk in the middle, Lumbre is a copper/gold shimmer shade.
  7. He Devil- I find that this is another great crease shade/blending shade, this is a matte burnt red shade.
  8. Ashes- I enjoy wearing Ashes in the outer corners of my eye and under my bottom waterline. This a matte dark purple shade.
  9. Sauced- This shade is another great base shade, sometimes I use this instead of Chaser for a darker look. Which is a soft matte light brown/orange shade.
  10. Scorched- I sometimes use this shade instead of Dirty Talk, this is a deep metallic red shade with gold shimmer
  11. Low Blow- This shade is very much a lighter version of Cayenne. I use the shade occasionally.
  12. Ember- Finally, Ember! I do like this shade, but I would say that I have used this shade the least, I feel I need to do more experimenting with this one! This is a metallic brown/copper shade
I'm now going to list them in the order that they are in the palette just so my swatched make sense.

  1. Ounce
  2. Chaser
  3. Sauced
  4. Low Blow
  5. Lumbre
  6. He Devil
  7. Dirty Talk
  8. Scorched
  9. Cayenne
  10. En Fuego
  11. Ashes
  12. Ember
(Ounce, Chaser, Sauced, Low Blow)

Overall, I would 100% recommend this palette, it quickly became an important part of my makeup routine! It's definitely worth the money!
